About the Author

Benedict Jacka is the award-winning author of the Alex Verus series and the Dresden Files series with Jim Butcher. He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and children.

Benedict Jacka's writing career began with role-playing games. He sold his first game supplement at the age of 17 and went on to write for companies such as White Wolf, Wizards of the Coast, and BioWare. In 2007, he published his first novel, Fated, which introduced the character of Alex Verus.
