In 2017, Rapinoe joined the OL Reign. She played for the Reign for two seasons before joining the Utah Royals FC in 2019. She played for the Royals for one season before retiring from professional soccer in 2020.

International Soccer Career

Rapinoe joined the United States women's national soccer team in 2009. She quickly became a key player and helped the team win the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2015 and 2019. She also helped the team win the Olympic gold medal in 2012.
