Plotz begins his story by describing his early days as a hockey player. He was a small kid, but he had a natural talent for the game. He loved the speed, the physicality, and the camaraderie. He played hockey every chance he got, whether it was on the frozen ponds of Central Park or in the local rink.

As Plotz got older, he began to realize that he had a chance to play hockey at a higher level. He joined a travel team and started to compete in tournaments all over the country. He was a natural leader on the ice, and he quickly became one of the best players on his team.

In high school, Plotz was recruited by several top college hockey programs. He ultimately decided to attend Harvard University, where he played for the Crimson for four years. He was a standout player for Harvard, and he helped lead the team to the NCAA tournament in his senior year.

After graduating from Harvard, Plotz played professional hockey in Europe for several years. He played in Sweden, Finland, and Germany. He also played for the United States national team at the World Championships.

Plotz's book is more than just a hockey story. It is also a story about growing up, finding your place in the world, and chasing your dreams. Plotz writes with humor and candor about the challenges he faced along the way, and he offers valuable lessons about perseverance, teamwork, and self-belief.

Harvard Kid Hockey Odyssey is a must-read for any hockey fan. It is also a great book for anyone who is interested in the journey of a young man coming of age.
